Our family of 10 visited Catch 22 last week for dinner and had a fabulous time. The team was great providing great service and even pretended to laugh at my horrible jokes. The food was fantastic and the drinks were effective. Only having a couple chances to catch dinner out, we are SO happy we picked your establishment. We will be back next year.
Spent a fantastic evening at Catch 22 on Tuesday night to celebrate a birthday with friends. What a awesome experience! Great waiter, food was beyond our expectations and the atmosphere was relaxing and fun. I can't wait until our next visit. A much needed fine dining restaurant but yet comfortably casual
Had dinner tonight at Catch 22 and it was absolutely delicious! I had the bacon wrapped shrimp with mushroom ravioli and my mom had the grilled chicken with bruschetta and risotto. Both were amazing and I was very impressed!
I have waited for a restaurant like this in Eagle River for over thirty years. Classic, clean, elegant decor. Gorgeous sexy bar and lounge. Linen table cloths and napkins...no vinyl table cloth with silverware rolled in a paper napkin and taped. Beautiful presentations of food. Excellent and fast service. Great little extras like roasted garlic for the divine bread and a complimentary soup shot. Caprese salad was wonderful with lobster flat bread pizza. Wish I had room for dessert. I told my husband that he could take me there once a week and I will just work my way through the menu. Absolutely delightful experience. Finally a fine dining spot rather than just another supper club. Thrilled.
Congrats to the owners on the place. We have been there several times. I love the crab cakes and the slaw/salad that comes with it are amazing. The steaks are always perfect and the gravy that comes with the sirloin is A+. Prices are very reasonable and staff is wonderful. We can't wait for the Easter brunch.
Sunday night was not very busy but this time of year understandable. We had a group of 4. Crab cakes, tuna special and the French onion soup were excellent! Presentation will set a new standard for the Northwoods. 2 of us had the duck which was 5 star and presented beautifully. Also tried the coconut shrimp which was great. Service was also great. The owner checked our table to see how our meal was. Congratulations!! Look out as the area begins to find this gem. Reservations will be needed. Ambience is nice but a little more light needed on a cloudy day.
We are locals so very, very excited to see something besides fried Sysco food in this culinary wasteland. Love Eagle River, but choices for good, fresh, creative meals are slim. Our party of 4 had the following: salmon, porterhouse, filet and bacon wrapped scallops. The meal starts with fresh, warm bread and roasted garlic. Very nice! Meals were 50/50. My shrimp were undercooked so sent back. Filet was over cooked a bit and just ok. Porterhouse & salmon were cooked well and very good. Shrimp came back a bit overcooked. I ate them and I did love the smoky chipotle heat as well as the mushroom ravioli, which I believe were homemade. The owner was very nice and concerned with our meal. He sent 2 desserts to the table as well as another round of drinks. Good wine selection as well. Also something lacking in our area. We will try again and look forward to specials and smoother dinners as they gain experience!
Went on a busy Saturday night and the place was very busy. Our table of four were seated right on time per our reservation. We had the crab cake appetizer and it was fantastic with an abundance of lump crab! The entrees were large and very well presented! The scallops were large and grilled perfectly. The risotto was delicious and flavorful. My companions steaks were grilled perfectly mid rare. Will stop back very soon!
We went for dinner on DAY 3 after their opening. Even though they just opened they have their act together. Really nice remodel - comfy couches in bar area and the tables in the dining room were placed nicely with enough room between tables. Wait staff was very attentive, and the food was good. We both had steaks and they were flavorful. The side grilled fresh vegetables were great - nice and crisp. Prices seem a bit high, but dinners include soup or salad, fresh bread, potato and vegetable. We will stop in again.
