Outstanding customer service and professionalism!

Having decided to purchase a new gas fireplace as part of our family room renovation, we scouted a few dealers in Etobicoke. Nero was competitive on price and excelled on customer service. David, the owner, was knowledgeable and extremely helpful; he took time to review our drawings and make a few suggestions. We never felt pressured to make a decision. He came by our house three times to look at the ongoing renovation to ensure that everything was going to be compatible on installation day. The installation went smoothly; we are very happy with his recommendation of the product and every aspect of interaction with David and his team. We cannot recommend David and Nero Fire highly enough; this was the experience we would wish to have repeated in each of our future contracting projects.

We just recently moved into a townhouse and I was afraid that we would not be able to have a fireplace. David came to our home and explained where it would fit and went to work making it. My fiance and I, went through a total gut renovation on our house and our renovators asked for an exorbitant amount to do our built ins. I decided to shop around for options and I am so glad I found David at Nero Fire Design. We wanted to make our built-in and niches a little more modern and artistic than others we've seen. When we discussed with David what we wanted, he had very good taste in design was able to make our dream come true. He also did not hesitate to make it to 3D so that we can visualize it in the room and rotate it etc. He made many revisions to accommodate for all our media devices. The part that really sets David at Nero Fire Design, from other contractors, is that he did not hesitate to ask us about modifications to the fireplace design to make it look and function the best it could be, despite it being more work for him. For example: 1. We realized our ceilings/air ducts under the built in weren't straight so he went the extra mile to fix that to accommodate the built in. //// 2. He suggested that we center the fireplace to our pot lights so that the overall look would be more aligned - he shifted the whole 3D drawing to accommodate for this so that we can see it in 3D and be OK with it //// 3. He recommended we add potlights to the bottom of the niches rather than the top of the niche (bedroom built-in) for added drama and more symmetry. All these adjustments were recommended by him and his intuition and taste for design was spot-on. //// 4. He made sure to buy the exact shoe moulding trim for the built-in to match the rest of our house (which were rather hard to find). He also bought special bolts to accommodate for our pricey speakers. //// The above was all extra work for him but he did not blink an eye to go the extra mile because he wanted to make sure his finished work is perfect and up to his standards. I am a very picky, meticulous person (i.e. corners have to be perfect, alignments, etc) and I am amazed that David is even more so than I am! In the current renovation industry in Toronto, this caliber of work ethic is really hard to find. Finally, his pricing is very very fair compared to others in the industry. Before his work he covered our furniture and floors and after he was done he vacuumed and left the niche ready to use, absolutely pristine. It was like a fairy just came and left us two beautiful built-ins and left. Amazing. I will not hesitate to recommend David to others. Already, my mother is asking one for her house too. We cannot wait to have guests over to show off our built-ins.

Nero Fire Design Testimonial

We first discovered Nero Fire Design at the Home Show in Toronto.  We fell in love with the concept of a water vapour fire, with such a beautiful and realistic flame.  We met David at his showroom and after seeing his designs, he was able to custom design a fireplace that could suspend from the wall and be open on three sides for viewing. The fire provides a beutiful glow in the evening without heat in the summer and an option for heat when needed, great for all season use.  David was a pleasure to work with, listening to our needs and finished the fireplace on time, exactly as discussed. Devlivery and instalation was a breeze.  We highly recommend David and Nero Fire Design!
