Will Be Back!

Rick, I played in Fla last week and the new clubs were fantastic. The tips you gave me were also invaluable. Will be making appointment for more lessons as soon as it gets warmer.  Thanks again.

Lesson

The lesson made a big difference.  I thought I would never be able to swing well befor the lesson.  After Rick watched me swing, he saw where I was going wrong.  I know now that I was trying so hard to keep my left arm straigh that  I was not turning my hips back at the same time  as my arms were swinging back.  I had always thought that the hips should stay still until the end of the golf swing.  Now that I know the correct method, I will practice it.  I will come back after I think I have accomplished that.

Clubfitting

Hi, Rick,

Your advice and fitting were right on the money once again.  The Mizuno MP 54 irons you recommended and then fit me for have upped my game to another level.  I picked them up on a Tuesday, and played a round on Thursday with them. I proceeded to shoot one of the best rounds I've had this season.  The feel is beyond anything I have ever hit before - the proverbial "feels like butter".  I have discovered a new accuracy and consistency, as well.  They launch high and come down steeply and softly.  No trouble reaching and holding greens.  So much of all this is directly related to your skill in club fitting.  I was consistently making contact in the center of the club - just like during our fitting session.  Thanks for helping to make the game even more enjoyable.

Golf Fiiting - 9/13/14

Drove over 2 hours to Sittlers from Maryland to get fitted for a set of Mizuno irons. Needless to say it was well worth the drive, a great experience. Rick explained every step of the fitting process to me making it both enjoyable as well as educational.I can't remember how many combination of shafts and heads we tried but in the end there was no doubt he found the right combination for me. I would also like to thank his wife Patti for taking the time to answer all my questions over the phone even calling Nike and Mizuno to get club information for me. If you are in the market for a new set of clubs, I would highly recommend seeing Patti and Rick Kline at Sittler Golf.

Ms

Had a game that was really going south this year.  Had a very informative and positive lesson with Rick that is helping me bring my game back.  Minor adjustments are leading to major improvements.  Thanks Rick!!

Milo played well with the SLDR's first time out--seem to be a good fit for his game --  4 iron good addition to his bag. He hit it about 230 over a water hazard to an elevated green to 4 ft. Above flag -- flight was very high and the ball stopped after one bounce on sloped green.--- he missed the put! Thanks for suggesting the 4 iron.

First Ace!

Hi Rick,

YES, I had a very good experience with the lesson! Thanks, your tips were VERY helpful.

Just as I was leaving the lesson Saturday afternoon, my friend called, and we met over at Rich Maiden.

I hit the ball just great. Nice solid contact, with a nice high draw shape.

I kept calm the hole round, ended +3. One double, a few bogies, two birdies and an ACE! My first one, I bounced an easy 9 iron in from 128!

Wow, when I said I felt I was close to improving a lot, I didn't think I would have a hole in one and my best round ever a few hours later!

Really, seeing the face tape and how much variation in contact I was making, along with you recognizing that I was breaking a little in the back made me face the fact that I need to concentrate more, hit more squarely. Firming up my left hand a bit with the thumb more steady on the club. Tempo and follow through are huge.

I guess I sort of felt I was hitting it a few millimeters from square, not an inch! I can do better than that!

Also played two rounds Sunday at Hickory Valley, had low drama 89 and 91. Definitely striking the ball much more squarely, solidly.

I sprayed a handful of long shots, duffed a few chips or I easily could have been lower 80's.

I'll practice it in a bit more and come see you again,

Thanks again,

Peter
