Club Fitting

Golfers: I have played golf for 33 years. Yesterday the sun was shining and I thought it might be time to upgrade my clubs since they are getting older. I play Calloway warbird woods from @1992. I Hit Hogan Apex irons from @2000 era. The reason for this story is to tell you that after all these years, I decided to get fitted for clubs (and just see if i could benefit from newer technology) versus just buy off the rack. I went to Rick Kline at Sitlers in Kutztown PA. NO JOKE, this was an awesome experience for many reasons. Notably, I hit 10 different new technology irons. Titliest, Ping, Calloway, etc... all great stuff but funny enough my old irons were like a great old pair of shoes. So Rick graciously said "I'd just keep hitting them if you don't feel a difference." What no sales pitch? WOW! Then he handed me a PING I 25 driver and I hit 3 balls and said.....I will take it. WOW, what a difference. The coolest club I have hit in years. (I also got the the 3 wood and hybrid to replace my 3 iron and 5 wood.) If you are a golfer. Try clubs before you buy, get properly fitted, and if you live near Sitlers, go see Rick and get professional advice and council, not SOLD! Thanks Rick for doing exactly what you promised and just help me put the RIGHT clubs in my bag. Bring on Spring and warmer weather!

Clubfitting

Had a club fitting with Ricky on Saturday morning. Just wanted to let everybody know what a great job he did – it went much better than I thought it would. He worked with me on club elimination and was very patient until I found the right clubs. I’m really satisfied with the Irons , Hybrids & Woods I selected – not all the same brand – and that I didn’t

just select clubs to select something. Ricky gave me a few swing tips , which worked well in my afternoon round.

Looking forward to picking up my new clubs, Thanks again.

Thanks to all at Sittler for your help today. Rick and Kenny were both great.  My wife (who is not a golfer) and I both felt like we were treated as old friends on our first visit.   I really appreciate Kenny's help with my wedges -- lots of good insight into what I need to do. I'll definitely be back for help on my fairway wood and driver.

Gifted Instructor

Rick: Thanks so much for the 2nd lesson. You showed me the proper form on the Golf swing ( today Iam sore ) but it was worth it. I will be using the new infomation in the furture and will be make my next lesson for mid summer, Have to practice my new swing. I see why you are one of the best in the Country.
