It is a delight to be around someone like you, Rick. You obviously
have a love and passion for the game of golf and have equal abilities
to teach others. That is a rare combination. We feel blessed to
have selected you to become our golf guru and look forward to more
good times with you.

Let me know when you get the Ping G10 fitting stuff in. I felt I had
the best feel with either the Ping Raptures or the Ping G10. I'll
come in for a fitting.

Just wanted to say thanks for the GREAT service I enjoyed at the demo day yesterday.  Every single member of your team could not have been more friendly and helpful; I was truly impressed.  When I was ready for my fitting and still couldn't decide between brands Rick was decent enough to allow me to keep hitting when really I should have made my mind up.  Being given this extra time when I know you were busy allowed me to make my choice in confidence.  At no point did I feel rushed.

 

I'm looking forward to getting my AP1's and lowering my score!

Outstanding Staff

Exceeded My Expectations

I wanted to take this moment to compliment Kenny Hugo's personalized guidance in fitting me for my first (and maybe last??) set of clubs at your shop yesterday. I was a "drop-in" client yesterday, on a rainy day. For years, wanted to be custom fitted for "my personalized set of sticks". Ken demonstrated patience, keen observations, presented to me continuous golf balls and clubs, all the while conveying the magical words "what feels good?", while monitoring ball flight from the various manufacturers' clubs. He exhibits knowledge of each manufacturer, and even offered that possibly my "draw-to-"hook" was a result of using standard length clubs (forever!), and indicated I compensate at impact with rotating my wrists! Makes sense..

I look forward to the day "my" set arrives. There's no "rush" - let the system work, and you will call me when they arrive. After all, we're not "exactly" enjoying golfing weather this week!

Mark, I will have to take you up on that driver lesson, BUT if I do start launching them over the fence I am NOT going to retrieve them...THAT IS WHY YOU HAVE ANDY NOW..LOL.

Keep Up the Good Work

 

 I can not thank you enough for the experience of having lesson sessions which taught me more then I have learned with three previous Teachers of the game of golf. The 3 lesson package was worth every cent. I really think it was the way it was presented, with what I needed to work on each lesson, to ingrain in me a new swing thought to offset my old mechanics, which were brought on by many good intentioned people and books etc. I just want to say, keep up the good work.

Hidden Treasure

Rick was fantastic - extremely knowledgeable and helpful!

Plus  really nice guy!  Sittler's is truly a hidden treasure for all
things golf in this area!

Top Notch Facili

Dear Rick and Patty,

I wanted to take a moment to pass on my some of my thoughts about your staff and your establishment. First, your facility is really top notch, from your choice of club manufacturers, to your indoor and outdoor practice areas, to your simulator and especially your staff. Now I have to tell you I have been a client of Mark Csencsits for years and he is the reason I initially visited your facility. On that initial visit I received the professionalism and terrific advice I have come to expect from Mark, but I also interacted with other staff members including the both of you. Everyone was extremely kind and helpful. That initial visit was 2 or 3 years ago.
Just recently I spent time with Mark to get fitted for first new set of clubs in about 8 years. In the past I have spoken to other "professionals" and some have made light about custom fitting. I have heard things from "oh, you are a normal height and weight, the standard club should be fine--most people are fine with the factory setup", to "amateurs' swings change, so most of the fitting numbers are irrelevant". Well, after Mark taking all the time needed, we found the clubs and the proper club setup needed for me and let me tell you that setup is anything but "standard". For those who think fittings are only for low handicappers--- they should think again!! I also believe I benefit from having Mark as my Pro as he has also built my swing and knows my game. I have always recommended Mark to people I know, but now I will be HIGHLY recommending Club Fittings, hitting multiple clubs, and your facility. You are truly a Full service facility and I truly feel comfortable there.
I also noticed that you employ a good number of "younger" adults. I have to tell you that the respect and tremendously helpful nature and knowledge of all of your staff is very refreshing, whether it is the busiest time of the year or a cold day in the middle of December. Kudos too, on your year round hours and indoor facility.
As mentioned, I visited your facility the first time due to the 8+ years that Mark and I have worked together, but you now have my loyalty for all of my equipment purchases. Now when I talk to friends and they discuss buying equipment on the Internet or purchasing used irons---I cannot emphasize to them enough how important it is to have a Pro evaluate your swing, fix you mechanically, and then fit you for your clubs. By doing the fitting we determined that the initial set of clubs I "thought" I wanted were not right for me and that I would benefit from having my new clubs customized--- so much for me being "Standard"!
By having that consultation I have purchased the correct club for my game, adjusted for my swing, from a Pro I trust and a facility that I am comfortable with. Hmmm.... but I possibly could have saved $100 or so on the internet by purchasing the wrong club, with a less favorable lie, a shaft that was not fitted to my swing speed, from a person I never met who may not back up a product that I will probably have for 5-10 years-- hmmmm... some would said I made a smart decision--- 'Ya Think!!

Thanks Again

Hello, Rick,

I just played my first round with the new TaylorMade R9 460 that you fitted me with last Friday. The club rigged with the Fujikura Motore 65 shaft performed on the course even better than it did on the range on Friday. Playing a Bridgestone Tour B330 RX ball, I only missed one fairway, and that was on one of the two drives I hit over 300 yards ( I was in the first cut of rough still with a clear shot to the green)! I never expected someone my age to be able to hit it that far, but I did it twice. I was averaging around 260 the entire round with a couple in the 280 and 290 yard range. The best part was that I was doing this while still keeping it in the fairways! This is truly an amazing driver! I've never experienced such instantaneous improvement with a club. My worst drives were as good as my best drives had been up to this point this year. Our little experiment with switching the Motore from the regular R9 has to be judged a success. The little extra shaft weight worked beautifully for me.

Thanks again for your help with setting me up with a great new piece of equipment.
