Study Bundle - Major Key for self paced learning

Last Tuesday's evening was stressful for me to see whether I passed my NPTE or not. Thanks God I made it successfully. I would like to thank Dr. Singh about his support throughout this journey. I did use his study bundle (access to study materials such as recorded lectures & review papers...etc) & it was so helpful for me since I used to study for NPTE on my own pace as well as I'm doing my PhD studies. Study bundle provides me with an accurate study schedule side by side with reading references in addition to recorded lectures for main concepts. Additionally, Dr.Singh answered my questions when I had doubts in some concepts. Contact Dr. Singh & he will make sure to assist you to pass NPTE.

Live Online Classes, NPTE 75 day Final Frontier

I am pleased to announce that I have also passed the Oct 25th NPTE. I could not curtail my excitement when I saw the word ‘PASSED’. It’s a dream come true for me. It has been a long and tough journey (becomes tougher when you are a foreign trained physical therapist). I would thank my husband, who is the co-author of my success story. He is the pillar of my strength and ensured that I followed my study schedule of 7-8 hours daily. He had no doubt that I can achieve this milestone. Credit for my achievement also goes to my entire family, especially, my brother, who motivated me to work harder.I would say that, this day would not have been possible without Dr Bhupinder Singh and his NPTE Final Frontier team. I started preparing for the exam in May, 2017 and to ensure that I pass the exam, I enrolled in his classes in August, 2017. It was my first attempt and when I talked to Dr. Singh before joining, he mentioned that the pass rate for foreign-trained PT’s is less than 30 percent, and I will needto work hard for the next few weeks to achieve my NPTE dream. He asked me my target score and the rest is history. I want to thank NPTE Final Frontier, especially my licensed study partner Akanksha, and the whole team.I would like to use this post to motivate people and share my study strategies. I have read almost entire O’Sullivan, Magee, parts of Kisner and Therapy Ed books for my preparation and also I strictly followed the NPTE 75 day Final Frontier timetable. I attended all the live classes online, on Saturday morning and Thursday evenings. Dr. Singh explained all the topics as concepts. I was not confident in MSK, so I followed his three step approach. Read MSK assignments, read special tests from my special test PowerPoint, and then open Kisner to read interventions. PNF was explained well in class (never understood it before) and I made a lot of tables forall Neuro scales. Cardiopulmonary was the easiest and all students in the class made a cardio 21 assignment which helped clear key concepts. My favorite part of the classes was gait and non-systems. Dr. Singh explained it like no one else could. He used bones and models of amputee legs to explain gait deviations and I will never forget his rationales. All classes were recorded and I listened to them at least twice. I remembered all his words during the exam (active passive insufficiency, spinal mobs, even his wife jokes on standard deviations, fit vs unfit men, concurrent validity).I always use to study alone and Dr. Singh supported the study style but supplemented it with a licensed study partner Akanksha. She helped me review all important concepts. She motivated me to go beyond my limits; she held me strong in my low days. I took one practice at the end of each phase and gotdecent scores in all exams. I spent two days reviewing the rationales and discussed the doubts with Dr. Singh in my one on one session. Every one on one session, we talked about the importance of studying from the textbooks and not just therapy Ed. Dr. Singh predicted a score of 720 and above. I thought hewas joking, I had seen pics of 700 plus people and my profile was not even close to them. I discussed with Akanksha and she arranged a session with Dr. Singh and I on Oct 23 at 8.00 pm. He conducted a viva asking a bunch of hard questions and I felt so confident. I was excited to take the exam and not nervous. I started dreaming big and the result is in front of you all, I ended up getting 737/800.
For anyone who is planning to take the exam, please consider talking to Dr. Singh. He is one of a kind. I have never seen an instructor with such knowledge and calmness. His patience and dedication is exemplary and doesn’t seem to be tired even after a big 3 hour class on spinal mobs (although I do thinkhe should drink water during breaks). I can’t say enough about the whole team. Rekha was always there managing WhatsApp group ( a 24 hour helpline). Thanks to Mini for managing google classroom and posting all assignments and solutions on time. I feel humbled by this achievement and will be willing tocontinue the Final Frontier philosophy of helping the next batch. Feel free to reach out and ask any questions.

NPTE- The Final Frontier made the difference- passed

Golden Words" PASSED" ... Did it on 6th, last attempt.
I am sharing my experience with all of you in the hopes to help and motivate those who are studying for NPTE. I will be honest to you all; it has been a long and rough journey. It wasn't an easy for me at all, but all struggle and series of compromises which led to this picture-perfect ending. Most of you know me from multiple classes and groups but it was NPTE- The Final Frontier that made the difference. I am a repeat offender .I passed on my 6th attempt. I used to follow this cycle---Take the exam, fail it, leave work to study harder, stop physical activity and sports , get poorer financially ,isolate myself and then retake the exam and fail again. I called Dr BHupider Singh after a recommendation and he talked to me and did a diagnostic session. As I was already enrolled in another class, I decided to buy his study bundle and took the exam again in JULY, 2017, and unlike most others: I did not pass and scored 74.Most of my friends passed except me. I was happy for them but I felt all is gone for me. I called him on a Sunday and we talked for almost 2 hours. He asked me to follow my "Natural Game". I told him I used to play in cricket league in New Zealand before moving to USA for my masters and he explained the NPTE to me like a cricket match. We talked about the importance of chasing a total even if you struggle in the beginning. I felt better and took it positively. Then he sent me a link of his cricket playing days at American Nationals from Iowa and emphasized on the importance of chasing a dream with passion. I started attending live classes; he would talk to me at regular interval. Everyone knows his classes are professional and super in content and you must have read multiple testimonials but it seems like it was dealing with a different person one on one. He would ask me cricket scores in the middle of class because he knew I was watching cricket even during classes.(Sorry sir:):) he would make fun of my bachelor habits ...ha ha ha...We set an individual study plan and he recommended me to go back to work. So I was working, attending classes, participating actively on the Whatsapp Study group ( Thanks Gowre Anurekha Arunachalam for managing the group so well), solving questions and playing sports every Sunday. One day during our whatsapp chat he said we needed 3 more one on one session and that I will pass. For the first session, he sent me the 250 question practice exam. That exam was harder than PEAT exam and probably the closest to actual exam. We discussed the rationale and made a list of my mistakes. For a Second session, I was asked to review all the lecture slides from our 11-12 week classes and conducted an hour rapid fire viva .(Throw random questions).I got more than 80% of them correct and became so confident. I was expecting more content during 3rd session but we talked in general about importance of stress management and sleep pattern. He showed me that confident and positivity. I felt like I had already passed the exam. I was happy receiving good luck wishes and reminder of my goals from sir .I have to admit here everything was covered in the class. I did it on my last attempt. It seems like a dream come true of passing NPTE.Thank you Final Frontier and its team. I did not achieve this all by myself. I had my wonderful family, my teachers and my friends throughout the journey .Thank you all.Thank you sir@Bhupinder Singh, for guiding and supporting me with your abundant knowledge and experience. Please contact me if you have any doubts. I will be happy to help in need.
DON'T GIVE UP! It's difficult to wait but worse to regret.

The FINAL time taking the NPTE

Honestly, taking this course was the best decision of my life. I struggled with my first couple attempts when I tried to tackle the NPTE on my own. However, when I signed up in July for an intensive 11 week course called “The Final Frontier”, I finally passed in October!!!

This course provided me with a daily structured outline of what chapters in textbooks to read and the important concepts to master from each section. The NPTE can seem scary, but with the help of this course breaking each content area down to section, it became more manageable. Each week we had assignments or quizzes that were made specifically for this course which helped my confidence build by knowing I was starting to understand the material. In addition, the “Whats App” group for the class provided an endless resource of classmates helping each other with concepts. Everyone in the class is supportive and wants each other to succeed too. Professor Singh is always compassionate and is there to answer questions you might have or even help with your personal doubts. I owe passing the NPTE to this wonderful course and I highly suggest anyone who still needs to pass to look into the “Final Frontier”.

BEST Prep Course out there

I cleared the NPTE. Thank you Dr. Bhupinder Singh sir and NPTE Final Frontier Team for your guidance and support. NPTE blue print based study plan was very helpful. Your simple and easy step-wise explanation of complex topics helped solidify my concepts. Mobilizations, Gait, PNF, and special tests presentation are some of the long list which boosted my confidence. The live class setup with audio and video conferencing created real classroom environment where we can ask questions and benefit from others questions. I felt it’s much better rather than typing in the chat.

The whatsapp group discussions were so helpful, your (Sir and Rekha) responses and quick references on the topics saved my time. The everyday posts on topics according to time table helped in revise my concepts.
Sir you are the best Mentor and your words of encouragement and one on one guidance on weak areas were outstanding. I felt the NPTE Final Frontier prep course is the BEST out there.

Truly the best NPTE preparation specialist

OMG it’s a dream come true ... it’s the most precious achievement of my life, seeing the word “PASSED @NPTE ❤❤❤Thank you the almighty Allah for blessing me with this precious gift!

It has been a very gruesome, tiring, crazy, and extremely tough journey. I failed at my 1st NPTE attempt, but at that time I knew that I was so underprepared. During the exam I knew it that I was totally going to fail, but of course there was a part of me that wanted a miracle.

Now when I look back, I think it was not the right time for me. A friend told me about Bhupinder Singh and then my hubby persistently told me to enroll for the Final Frontier course. I was skeptical about joining the course and I still recall my first conversation with Dr Bhupinder Singh. The thing that really made me confident about choosing the  NPTE- The Final Frontier Dr. Singh saying that I could enroll in the course and if I was not satisfied and felt that this course would not help me, then I could get a full refund.

It was an intense 11 weeks study course in which we followed an awesome timetable which had carefully selective topics from various books, live lectures and assignments. During the preparation Dr Bhupinder worked his magic by teaching us key concepts that are crucial for anyone who wants to pass the NPTE. He always said that don’t just study hard but STUDY SMART. In about 2 months I realized I had transformed greatly, my knowledge had increased, my concepts were crystal clear, my endurance had increased immensely. Dr Bhupinder would insist that we should focus on building up our mental endurance and that really helped me during the actual exam. During the actual exam I wasn’t really tired and was very relaxed, thanks to the strategic training by Dr. Bhupinder!

Thank you to Dr Bhupinder - @the Final Frontier, he truly is the best NPTE preparation specialist. Thank you to my sweet hubby for supporting me so much and tolerating my mood swings and my ups and downs. Thank you to my lovely parents and sister for being so caring and understanding. Thank you to my shuweeet friends who probably felt that I snubbed them at several occasions.. I am sooo sorryyyy ❤❤❤❤

Finally a licensed PT #NPTE

Passed first attempt!

Sitting on my couch, binge-watching Strangers Things 2 on Netflix was not able to take me away from the reality of the day. It was 5 in the evening and besides Halloween; NPTE results were on my mind. Pulse racing faster as I knew that results would soon be up. With all my willpower, with my sense of fake composure, I could not stop but to hit Alt+Tab to peek into FSBPT site. I kept on hitting refresh again and again till voila! the screen gave in to my persistence and showed PASSED...............................

The overwhelming sense of joy, the realization of the result was slowly sinking in as my heart and tear glands gave in. The months of hard work had not failed me. I made it in my FIRST ATTEMPT.

Today, I am a proud licensed Physical Therapist in the USA. It wasn't a fairytale, but a struggle and series of compromises which led to this picture-perfect ending. The last one year has been one adventure after another; getting married, moving to the US, studying for CLEPs, securing admission in DPT , having DPT midterms just a day before and after NPTE, and the final feather in my hat, clearing NPTE. :) Rollercoaster indeed.

It may sound methodic and sequential but it was an emotional catastrophe. I almost had a nervous breakdown a week before the exam. The thought of postponing my exam kept coming back like a nightmare. But it’s a fact no student will ever be ready for any exam let alone an important one as NPTE. We all have thoughts in our head saying ‘I can do it next time’. But you have to put your foot down. Trust your gut which tells you to seize the day with all you have. I did not achieve this all by myself. I had my family, my friends and my most importantly my study partner who made this day happen. And also thank my husband, for being so supportive.

I genuinely thank my mentor, Bhupinder Singh, for guiding and supporting me throughout the period with his knowledge and experience. Taking the classes with Final Frontier, was undoubtedly my best decision. Though like all the new students, I was skeptical before enrolment but through a recommendation from a trusted friend, I joined in, putting aside all my apprehensions and hesitations. With every class, my confidence in him and my decision increased. I felt I am in right company and mentored by a right teacher. Dr. Bhupinder's knowledge and patience is immense but his virtue that makes the most difference is his jest to help us, his students, to succeed. I remember when I contacted him, a year back when I was about to start my prep, he guided me with the best of information on every aspect.

The best part about his classes is the A/V collaboration, which gives an atmosphere of a live classroom. Making the whole experience more interactive and very professional. Another very important aspect of his tutoring is his periodic 1-1 weakness classes. I felt 1-1 classes played the utmost essential part in my success; he made sure he knew every single student of his class and worked on each one of us addressing weaknesses and devising a personal strategy. His individual attention helped me immensely with my preparation. I remember right at the start when he asked me "What is your goal?" and "What are your fears?".

I call him my Mentor more than a teacher as he encouraged me, guided me at every step, showed me the path to walk and work upon. We can attend a number of classes, and spend thousands of dollars but at the end, we are once who have to strike the decisive blow. So the mentor matters.

Few lines from Robert Frost comes to my mind. "Two roads diverged in a wood and I - I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference."

Special thanks to my Licensed PT friends, who all also cracked NPTE is their first attempt and helped me stay positive. - Ekleen, Yogesh , Mansi , Krima , Rashmeet.

My story wouldn't be so pretty without help and care of My Study Partner (Amruta), my roommate (Prarthana),final frontier team- Gowre Anurekha Arunachalam, my genius friends from India who had always stood by my side to make this happen- Richa , Gaurav , Deepak , Tejas , Suman , Hetal, Ayaz & Venus.
