Yet another fabulous night spent at The Ghanaian Pot at No28. The food and atmosphere were again brilliant!
The Ghanaian Pot is a fresh and bold idea bringing Ghanaian flavour and culture to the town of Belper. I'm really looking forward to tasting more of what Ghanaian Pot has to offer in the future, Xx
A fantabulous night of culinary excellence and a vibrant, warm and friendly atmosphere facilitated by the amazing hosts, Anida and Bernard. In addition, the waiter service was great! A real treat-great value and a unique experience.
Fabulous night out with the girlies. The food was amazing and we really had a good giggle at our attempts at Ghanaian dancing! If you fancy a great night out check out the next pop-up on the 22nd, we will definitely be back to future events!
I reactivated my Facebook account to write this post just to say that the meal we had at the Ghanaian pot was absolutely phenomenal!!!!! It was all dishes I had never tried before but there wasn't a single item in any course that wasn't out of this world! The food was cooked to perfection, fragrant, spicy, sweet. It was an absolute sensation! They were amazing hosts, coming out between courses to meet the guests and chat to them...and even showing guests how to dance! me and my mum thoroughly enjoyed the evening and will be booking in on the next evening hosted!!! All I can say is come along and find out for yourself, You will not be disappointed! Thank you for a wonderful evening xx
We went to the 9th June pop-up in Belper, not knowing what to expect (there were no reviews yet!). What a nice surprise it was - the venue was decked out with Ghanaian cloths, fairy lights and the perfect music was playing (just loud enough to enjoy, not too loud that you could not converse).
The food started arriving at about 7.30, and was great (see the menu!). There was a bit of dancing and a generally convivial atmosphere. Anida and Ha'ed made an effort to speak to many people, which was brilliant - we're looking forward to them bringing this to Wirksworth, if that can be made to happen :-)
