Amazing class!

Fun way to learn about chess
Our daughter has taken classes after school the past two years, when the chess club is in session. She really enjoys it and seems to be learning the basics of chess in a fun environment with other kids!

Downey Chess Club
In person chess club meetings are very important and in my opinion the kids get to learn more than a virtual meeting because of the in person interaction actually playing games of chess and having the teacher there to give pointers. Starting with Downey Chess Club was one of the best things for my son.
