I'm so glad to have found a microschool that truly focuses on the strengths of my daughter while kindly working with her on areas that need improvement. My daughter is learning and retaining valuable life skills each week. As a parent, I’m extremely thankful for the individualized support Imelda and Gilbert provide each week.

My kids had such a fantastic time at this micro school! They participated in a fun, hands-on class where they built solar ovens out of pizza boxes to make delicious s’mores, created tasty protein balls, and learned about healthy foods and nutrition. Mrs. Imelda and her assistant made learning exciting and engaging. They encouraged creativity while teaching. It’s rare to find a program that blends science, health, and fun so perfectly. I highly recommend this micro school to any family looking for enriching, interactive educational experiences!

My daughters attended BEE growth mindset workshops over the summer and they really enjoyed it. Ms. Imelda is very kind, patient, and caring. She taught them calming strategies for times they are anxious or scared. She also helped them identify positive traits in themselves. Overall it was a great experience for my family.

My son has been coming to Ms. Imelda since April and we are so BLESSED to have found her and her family. They have been so welcoming and embraced my son making him feel accepted. My son is autistic and struggles with emotional and social awareness and the Growth Mindset workshops have helped him to improve and recognize his feelings and others. I feel confident as he continues to attend we will see greater improvements. If you have a child with special needs and they love attending and staying with someone other than their parents you know they feel LOVED and as a parent that gives me ease of mind to just drop him off and pick up later. The expertise and experience, and education Ms. Imelda has working with children with special needs BEE Microschool with be a blessing too many families in the Yuma County.

Finding an accepting and supportive environment for my special needs kid has always been a challenge. He especially struggles with new people and environments. But Imelda and Gilbert’s kind and patient approach and welcoming atmosphere made him feel right at home. He has learned so much with them, and loves to tell me all about the things they did in class when I pick him up. I’ve even learned a few tricks from them that help me better support him at home. I’m so grateful for the positive impact they’ve had on his growth, confidence, and interest in learning!
