Stone Escapes Masonry just installed an absolutely beautiful paver patio in our backyard. The owner Iain really listened to our vision for what we wanted and helped a ton with deciding what to do, even coming back for a second estimate when we completely changed our minds on the first one. The GM Meagan kept us well informed through the entire process. We did a Toffee Onyx Lite XL patio with an Onyx border. The crew turned a 3 day job into 2 and transformed our overgrown shrubs into a perfect entertainment area. They left the job site spotless and even added extra top soil to level everything off. Just finished a patio, walkway project. Iain and crew did a beautiful job from planning and explaining the project to its completion. Meagan kept us up to date, and made sure we were completely satisfied. We couldn't be happier.

Our experience with Stone Escapes was without doubt, the best we have had with any contactor. Iain and Meagan made everything from start to finish worry free. Our project that included demolition of a deck and an above ground pool, and installation of new retaining walls and a multi tiered patio went exactly as promised. Iain, his foreman Jason, and the rest of their crew were incredible. I was told that the project would be done in 5 days and they did it in 4. I highly recommend them and look forward to working with them next year on a driveway project.

My wife and I interviewed a dozen contractors to do the brick work at our home. Iain showed up when he said he would, that says a lot to me because others don’t show up when they say they will. Professional, punctual, perfectionist. I could go on and on about the work they did on my property. They took my ideas and made them my reality. Don’t choose the first mason that is available and cheap. I did that last year and was left literally sitting in puddles because the mason didn’t put proper drainage or pitch the concrete correctly. This was the second job we used Stone Escapes for. They replaced our driveway, with a new design and did window wells for our egress windows. Once again they did a fabulous job. Iian was very responsive to our needs and very reliable. He worked hard to match other estimates. I would highly recommend Iian and his crew for any job big or small. It warms my heart to see such a young guy work so hard. (And he does get in the trenches with his crew) I hope his business continues to grow, he deserves it. We plan on replacing the stone around the pool and without hesitation will use Iian and Stone Escapes!

We are completely happy with the results of the work performed. There were no short cuts taken to cheapen or speed up the work and the results look absolutely great. Ian suggested fairing the end of the pathway as it approaches the curb. This small detail makes a noticeable difference. It looks better than just a straight pathway. In order to accomplish this, many more stones had to be cut and fit. This small detail required not just more time but also a greater skill. Every joint fit tightly. The miters at the ends of border flairs are perfect. A small detail that makes the pathway look so much better. We will be using Stone Escapes for future masonry projects.

If you are looking for a fairly priced, honest professional I highly recommend Stone Escapes to anyone looking for landscape ,masonry or paving projects. I only had a general idea of what I wanted to do and met with the owner personally who helped me refine and design so that retaining wall ( and Rock) fit into my existing landscape and was proportional to my property. He was involve in every part of the project from soup to nuts and oversaw quality during each phase of project. He was always available and responsive to questions I had. The crew was on time , worked quickly and made sure work site was spotless at each days end.. they also were careful not limit the damage to the surrounding turf which I appreciated . I have been a business owner for a decade so I always seek quality service when I read reviews. After coming across Stone Escapes, I loved that they were responsible and reasonably priced. They didnt upcharge us, because of COVID-19  and sat with me for two hours to discuss the details of our service. I requested a brand new driveway. The asphalt is literally drying as we speak. As soon as it dries I will post a picture. They are consistent and very responsive to emails and texts. I have a decided to install an inground pool and feel comfortable with Stone Escapes completing the service.

We are so glad we found Stone Escapes. We were simply looking for a replacement for our wooden decks. Iain visualized a whole different concept utilizing pavers instead of wood that gave the deck a beautiful new appearance while incorporating a matching ground level patio that solved a potential zoning problem. The result was a stunning two-level structure that looks like an amusement park. And the price was less than we had expected to pay for a boring wood replacement. We are thrilled. Beautiful custom work, Professional, and Friendly that’s really hard to find these days but here it is.

Excellent job on my rear patio and walkway. The company is small and family owned. What I appreciated most from Ian, the owner, was that he was on the job site for the majority of the time. My husband and I were pleased that he worked closely with us from giving us a free estimate (which was to my husbands surprise- reasonable!) to actually doing the work himself.

Stone Escapes was the one and only company i called. Originally i was looking for just a plain old concrete patio to help with a standing water issue we had in our backyard. When Iain came to check out the job immediately he recommended not only to use pavers but to then add a drain connected to a dry well. Right away I knew I was going to hire them. Him and his guy were in and out in 5 days despite all the obstacles we faced (finding and pumping the ceptic, having to add a retaining wall, having to move the fire pit outside the patio) but nothing stopped them. They were very patient with me and made sure i was happy every step of the way and i have to say i am blown away with the perfection and time and effort these guys put it! Stone Escapes will 100% be back to my house to continue making my visions a reality!
