Seb managed our permit, listened to our goals, understood what vision we had for the area, and by far exceeded our expectations with the final product. After extensive research and several at-home estimates, my wife and I unanimously agreed to award our backyard project to Sebastien from Eastside Contracting.  The project included a large wrap-around red cedar deck for our 21' above-ground pool, 6' high privacy panels, wood railings with aluminum balusters and 8' wide capped stairs.  Right from the start, Sebastien set himself apart with his pleasant and good-humoured personality, his clear and in depth estimate, and the included 3D/4D computer graphics of our deck.  Although he was not the least expensive option, he proved time and time again that he was the best option.  Over a two week period, Sebastien displayed an impeccable work etthic and is work was consistently meticulous!  The end result exceeded all expectations!  Our deck received rave reviews from family, friends and neighbours!  Sebastien's business cards were in demand!  We are absolutely thrilled with Eastside Contracting and will not hesitate to recommend Sebastien to anyone contemplating deck and/or renovation projects!  Thank you Seb, we so look forward to spending poolside family time on our deck this summer!                  

Having gone through renovations before, I know how stressful they can be, and a solid and reliable contractor makes a HUGE difference. After shopping around, I simply went back to Eastside Contracting who had redone my deck a few years ago. This was an excellent decision.Sebastien gave me written estimates, made suggestions. He referred me to his suppliers (for countertops and tiles) and both the referrals turned out excellent. I guess the people he deals with are a reflection of what he really is like. Personable and professional. So yes, I hired, Eastside.Sebastien treated my house like his own. He is very meticulous and takes pride in what he does. He cleaned up after himself "as he went"; he did not leave anything laying around. I haven't heard a vacuum going as often as when he was here. He also did minor plumbing work (adding a second sink in the main bath) and added a range hood. He obviously tiled all 3 bathrooms, the laundry room and my beautiful backsplash.I now have my house back and couldn't be happier with everything that Eastside Contracting did. I would recommend this company at the drop of a hat!
