I bought two 120 watt walkable solar panels from custom marine products for my sprinter van. I had to strategically place the ac, fan, and solar panels on the roof while leaving some room for a walkable deck. Tom was super knowledgeable and helpful helping me pick the perfect size panels. I upgraded my trolling motor batteries, three years ago and it was a game changer. There is no comparison to lead acid batteries. I could bass fish on one charger for multiple days. Customer service with CM has been great they have personally helped me with a couple things that I did wrong with setting up my batteries.

Ed supplied me with a flexible solar panel and a remote batteru/ charger/ controller with USB outlets for my ongoing Arctic expedition. The hardware is robust and the build quality excellent on the pelican case unit. I expect this unit to last YEARS past when the expedition concludes. Ed knows his business, the materials and components intimately, and is an absolute pleasure to work with. Hands down the best in the PNW.

My entire racking system of solar panels blew off into the bay. My insurance company issued me a check and I was on my own to put it all back together My electrician recommend CMP. So I ordered replacements. They were delivered rather quickly and I got them mounted. All was well for a couple months then all three panels stopped putting out any power. We tested them and sure enough they weee dead This is where CMP really showed they were made off. Tom at CMP said they would replace them or refund my money. I was surprised that it was that easy It took a couple months to get new ones in the size of my rack. But when the arrived they were a combined 525 watts and my old ones were only 450 I have them installed and they are working better than I had expected Buy your stuff from these guys…they stand behind what they sell

Installed 1200watts of panels on my 56' comercial fishing boat in Kodiak Alaska, with salt spray and harsh winters I hardly run my genset. Installation was a breeze with using silicone to mount them. Most the boats in my family fleet have them now and we are all saving big on the fuel bill! Couldn't be happier with the purchace.

I needed a tough solar panel that could handle a rough life. The panels that I kept finding for overlanding seemed like they wouldn't hold up to branches and acorns falling on them. Additionally, I didn't want to remove it constantly as I have a fridge that I'd like to power full time. On top of that, I have a 23Zero tent I need to carry on the roof rack that may partially cover the panel enroute. I wanted to replace my then solar panel installation of 300W with a more powerful set up. I chose set of four CMP22200S panels for a combine power of 800W. During this selection process I'd got a great support and advice from Tom. After re-working my solar arch and installing those new panels I could not be more please with their quality and performance. They are capable to supply their nominal power of 800W as per their specs and maintain my battery fully charged during a day. Great product with outstanding support.

Rarely can one find the level of competent customer service Tom sr. And Tom jr. provide. As has been mentioned over and over, they are available and responsive beyond anything I have ever experienced on line, or for that matter, in person. Once I was convinced that I needed to go beyond my DIY solar power set up on our previous sailboat, I contacted CMP and was guided through the process of selecting the right panels, cables, controllers, and new batteries that would meet our new power needs. We were having all new canvas work done and it was a perfect time to incorporate the new panels with the dodger and bimini . We now have panels delivering a total of 400 watts of power with two controllers and two new LifePo4 batteries. Installation was going to be a challenge to me, but Tom sr. and Tom jr. we’re up to the task of walking me through it. Fortunately I have a wonderful friend who is not electronically challenged and he was able to converse the them on the more detailed aspects of the installation. The finished product is a delight to behold. We have had many folks stop by our slip to look it over and ask questions. We are the second owners of a Seaward 32RK. The original owners had installed semi rigid solar to the bimini that failed. I spent a long time searching for rigid panels that would fit our boat. Then I came upon Custom Marine Products and saw that they offered the 175W rigid panels. These are ~3'X3' and would fit perfectly above the bimini. Tom Sr. and Tom Jr. were both great to deal with. Three years ago I worked with Custom Marine products to replace the Battery package on my 38 foot sailboat and have been completely satisfied with the product, the customer support and the improvement that these batteries have made to my vessel. The blue tooth feature shows me exactly what the state of charge is and the amount of amperage draw or charge is taking place at any given time. After three cruising seasons I have only used 35 cycles of the thousand or so available with these batteries. In the second year I added one of their 150 watt solar panels and have found that it completely is able to maintain my vessel where I don't ever need to use shore power from April through October. This is amazing since I have a water cooled refrigeration system which has a half horsepower motor and is left on for the whole seven month season. I am adding an additional 140 watts of panels to give me surplus power when I am sailing for several days in overcast conditions to ensure that the auto pilot and instruments are taken care of. It has been a pleasure to work with this company where the owner gladly answers his phone to help with every technical question that I have had to properly install my system. If you are looking for good products and a great company, look no further as these people are the best at what they do.

Custom Marine helped us set up a fantastic solar system for our Caliber 40 sailboat. And when something went wrong offshore in difficult conditions, he was available 24x7. I'm adding a solar system to my boat in San Diego, and my installer suggested adding a couple of 55-watt square panels to the two 175-watt panels that were just delivered from CMP. But the installer knew he couldn't find the panels from his usual vendors. So I sent an e-mail to CMP after business hours to find out whether the right panels are in stock and explaining I need them urgently for the scheduled installation. I expected to have to wait at least a day. Not only did Tom Jr. answer my e-mail the same evening at nearly 10 p.m. his time, but he also took care of the shipping details to get me the panels immediately. When I woke up this morning, I found an e-mail with the tracking number and an expected delivery date well before the upcoming installation. I've dealt with great, helpful people in the boating industry, but this one takes the cake. Incredible focus on helping me as a customer, and I'm very grateful.

I'm really happy with the 700 watts of panels I put on my boat. Now if the sun is out my batteries are topped up and there's no need to run the engine. I was pleased with customer support and delivery of high quality product. In fact after chatting with Tom, I revised my whole approach to an inverter installation. I switched to Victron and I'm very pleased with performance and overall system integration.

After a lot of questions, answered carefully by Tom*2 I finished up our install today of 700w of power from six flexible panels on the bimini. We are super pleased to see our batteries charging nicely even at that tail end of the day. Great customer service and follow up and could not be more pleased with the design and outcome!

Tom Sr. Worked with me on a solar installation last Spring. I sized (2)200 mono crystalline rigid Sun Power panels with victron mppt and battery monitor. The spreadsheet he created to figure out solar needs is the best I have seen. Love this system! My wife and I spent the summer on the Great Lakes and other than a very old refrig/feeezer compressor the panels kept up with all systems including our autopilot! The best ting about Tom (and his son Tom) is that they truly want the best solution, not the sale. Most knowledge in marine solar I have come across and while the products aren’t cheap they are priced fairly for being some of the most premiere solutions available. Tom Trimmer of Custom Marine Products has been a pleasure to deal with and has provided truly exceptional customer service. When the PV wire I ordered was shipped with the MC connection terminals not installed as planned Tom purchased and sent me a brand new crimper so that I could install the connectors myself. Also when one of the solar panels arrived with shipping damage. Tom insisted on sending a replacement panel even though I was willing to live with the damage and avoid the hassle. With Tom's service there was minimal hassle. I sent him some photos and he immediately sent a replacement panel. He arranged return shipping for the damaged panel and I returned it AFTER the new panel arrived. To top it off when the solar controller failed after several months I called Tom and he sent a replacement controller that day based solely on my complaint. I heartily recommend working with Tom and Custom Marine Products.

I purchased a pair of 200 watt Marine Sunpower panels. Tom was great to work with. The panel installation was a breeze. We now have a port and starboard panel up on our roof rack on our boat. The two panels hooked up in series, provide us 400 watts. In the Pacific Northwest, we are seeing over 2,000 watts a day be generated. Cloudy days we still see over 1500 watts. Our daily usage on the boat is about 1200 watts. We haven't needed to hook up to shore power when we moor at a marina as a guest. These panels give us what we need and they look fantastic on the roof. Really sharp look'n!

I met Tom at the Miami boat show and was impressed with his knowledge and his product offerings, mainly the solar water heater. What good is solar if you have to run your engine for hot water? Tom worked with me to get the best system for my boat, a Lagoon 380. The problem came when I was not able to find ANYONE to do the installation. Tom said, "don't worry, I will talk you through it." It took me a while, but I would call Tom, he would tell me what to do, I would do that, then call for the next step. I could not believe how patient he was answering all my questions. Bottom line: I did it and the install looks and works great. We recently anchored in a nearby bay for five days and never ran the engine once and had all the power and hot water we needed. If I ever get another boat, there is no doubt that I would put this same system on my new boat. What a great company to work with. I highly recommend them.

Briefly because we were standing in 6 inches of water at the booth, but I was sold on their product and service after a few minutes. Purchased a 120ah Lithium Iron Phosphate battery from Custom Marine for use with a Hells Bay Marquesa 18' Flats skiff with power pole and trolling motor. Highly recommend. Prior I had two led acid batteries: one for start and second for trolling motor. With LifePO4 I only use one battery for start, trolling motor etc. Advantages: - simple wiring with everything on one battery for all electrical functions - charging the battery with the outboard's alternator - battery lasts a very long time while on the trolling motor by having a battery that can be used well below 50% state of charge (unlike lead acid) - battery doesn't run down while the boat is not of use. It holds its state of charge for very long periods - the ability to check the battery with the bluetooth app on my phone. This battery and setup is a game changer for bass boats and saltwater flats skiffs. Highly recommend these batteries and Custom Marine. Tom has been wonderful to work with. Prompt, intelligent service.

I just installed a 110 Watt Flexible solar panel using your 10 dual battery controller and remote display for the Duo Dual Battery Controller on my 32 foot Challenger Sailboat. Although the documentation and schematics were very helpful I still had a few questions needing answers. Each time I called CMP I ot an answer right away, no put on hold or call "I'll call you back". In recent memory I have never had service like this. Everything is working as advertised and my batteries are really topped off. Thank you CMP and Tom
