Dr. Alanen was amazing with my surgery. 

Dr Alenen saved my life. He spotted a small dot that my family doctor missed for over a year...it turned out to be melanoma and the DR phoned me himself to my home and the wheels were set in motion very quickly ..seeing oncologist and surgery. Since then my husband has had MOHs surgery from Dr Alenen also. Highly recommend him!

I have been a patient of Dr Alanen for just over 2 years. I have always been treated with respect by all staff and overall it is a positive experience. Some days you have to sit out in the waiting room longer than you want to, but that happen at all Doctors Offices. Dr Alanen is always friendly and take the time to “catch up on happenings” since my previous appointment. Not once did I feel that he is rushing to get to the next patient. I always feel cared for and would recommend him to all.​

I was given an appointment within 24 hours of calling without a referral for a skin cancer concern. I mixed up the times and ended up showing up an hour late (at the end of the day on Friday). The staff were wonderful and still got me in. Dr. Alanen works quickly and efficiently, he listened and was attentive to my questions and comments. His staff was informative and very capable. This was one of my best appointments in the medical community. Highly recommended. As individuals it is our responsibility to educate ourselves and go in with a basic understanding of the potential situation and it is his job to be the expert and advise - I felt he did his job perfectly.
