A brilliant book loads of information easy to understand in layman terms I sometimes travel to the Canadian Rockies on hiking trips this book can be a life saver. I would like to congratulate the author on a well researched subject I would also like to recommend this book to anyone who is thinking of traveling to destination's off the beaten track.

A good book with an intermediate level medical care information. There will be some care and treatment techniques you really hope doesn't happen. and medication treatments that I think falls beyond the norm. If you're after information on long term austere medical and care advice then this will help
