I took my scheduled API1169 exam yesterday and I'm happy to inform you that I passed rather easily. Thank you very much for your class prep I helped me.

I think the class needed at least 1 more day to cover all the material and answer questions. It was a little overwhelming the amount of material we went over in just 4 day's. I did agree with the time frame that we had every day from 8am to 3pm but seemed to have a lot of homework each day. 5-6 hours of homework every day was a bit much and by the end of class during the final practice exam I was extremely tired and just wanted to get it done and leave to go home. It was also difficult to concentrate during the exam. Overall the instructor, Matt Wood was very knowledgeable about the pipeline process and questions asked about the material. He kept the class interesting and enjoyable. I highly recommend the class to any other person trying to become more familiar about the certification. Also I appreciate Jessica and her timely responses to any questions that were brought up. I appreciate Velocity Training for all information and time that I received. Hopefully I can pass the exam on December 10th so I don't have to take the class again and sit next to any computer illiterate students. Thank you very much Matt and Jessica.   Sincerely Keith Dodd

Matt did a great job teaching and explaining topics that I was very new too.  I enjoyed this class & recommend to everyone trying to obtain an API 1169 certification. 

I believe the online and classroom experience was spot on. Being old and set in my ways, this course has taught me new ways to study and comprehend. Specifically, I appreciated: * The course's structure, which was easy to follow. * The instructors' ability to explain complex concepts clearly. * The interactive elements that kept me engaged.

The amount of information in this course is tremendous and the instructor kept the focus in tact for specific learnings so that each sections were retained in memory. Matt made a difference this week for sure.  

I missed the pre study material like several others. Matt helped us out getting up to speed. I missed several emails about this so not really the courses fault. I would appreciate being able to speed up the voice. I'm an oddball and always listen to things at a faster speed. I understand the issues with retention that some may have with that option.

I was able to pass my exam, I owe a lot of credit to your training program. Even with several years of experience on pipeline construction ROWs, as a surveyor. There are regulations and regular practices that I did not know about and were educated about through Velocity.

For me, the instruction was extremely good. I think there was a good balance between self-study and interaction. Matt has a great balance of seriousness and able to laugh at all the right times. He made it easy to approach him with questions as well as making a joke from time to and ensuring that we came back to topic within time to not loose progress with the class. He seemed extremely knowledgeable with all subjects and was able to clearly respond to any questions ask. I will recommend this class to anyone that expresses interest in seeking help with this certification. Thank you for the opportunity to experience this class and for the knowledge i gained within this class.UPDATE: I passed my test on the 15th with a 415 score. Which directly reflects the effort put into the test. I'm sure I wouldn't have done that well without taking that class. I can honestly say that was the difference maker that's directly related to my instructor. Thank y'all for the help.

Class was great. Exactly what I was looking for. Test taking reminders and efficient study and test taking strategies. UPDATE: Thanks for all the help. Class was great! and definitely made a huge difference for me.

Geezus! I have never been stressed during an exam for over 30 years. In the last 2 years I've taken 28 exams, scoring between 92% and 100% with ease. I study extensively, creating my own study notes, tools, PowerPoints, even apps. I also am hyper-analytical and when needed can use process of elimination to determine the correct answer in a multiple choice exam. Not in this one. I would have responded sooner, but I had to walk away, get a coffee, and unwind. I would like to thank all of you for, first, assisting me where needed, and second, this exam. It's the first exam that I've taken and passed where I felt that I actually accomplished something. That said, I am confident that I will do better on the other exam that I will take tomorrow. I have more career experience and knowledge with that content, and I studied that training material most recently.

I purchased the 30 day study package for API 1169 Pipeline Construction Inspector and could not have passed the exam without it! The modules cover all the required material and tell you what documents to review. The practice quizzes and exams were a great way to find out what you know, and what areas you needed further review. Pay close attention to the supplied Important Study Documents as they are key reading materials that you won’t find during the exam. Jessica was quick to reply to any emails I sent with questions on the study material. I would highly recommend this course!

Instructor Explained material very descriptive and tried to refer to material in several different ways to help students learn the material. Took plenty of time reviewing material and answering question very informative.

The information was laid out in a very user friendly manner. The instructor was very attentive to every student even with ridiculous questions or repeated questions. He would break every question down for EVERYONE to easily understand.

I think that without this class your chances of passing are not good. I am glad I took this course. The course is a must have for passing the 1169. Thank you, Lonnie

The course is very helpful in learning to navigate the materials needed on the computer for the exam. Matt (the instructor) is very knowledgeable in what he does.
